That's why I went to London to meet with Martin Jordan and Kara Kane. Martin and Kara are part of a team of 900 digital specialists that work at  Government Digital Services - the digital unit of the UK government that's widely recognized for  setting the standards in the way citizens interact with governments online.

We talked about what it means to build better services for citizens, how GDS works like a startup within the government and how they share knowledge and build community with civil servants across the country.
