co-matter digest #20: An interview with Nelly Ben Hayoun
“Curiosity is what drives everything. Be curious, never give up, and especially put yourself in situations where you know you’re going to fail.” - Nelly Ben Hayoun

Today's Episode #10 of The Community Podcast is a bit of an unusual one. Other than most of my guests so far, Nelly Ben Hayoun is not known as a community leader. Instead, she makes music with NASA’s space scientists or puts volcanos in your kitchen sink.

Sometimes called the "Willy Wonka of Design and Science" or “Part designer, part performance artist, part space traveller”, Nelly and her team are known for designing extreme experiences.

At her studios in London Nelly told me how it all came about and what it means to design an experience.
