We'd like to invite you to a new series of conversations we're hosting together with SPACE10 in Copenhagen.

Welcome to the World Wide Web is a 3-part investigation into the Internet of the future and how it will enable more people to live better lives. 

We’ll look into key technologies, human needs and cultural norms that shape the online experience for the next generation on the world wide web - and use these different environments as a mirror to reflect upon our own digital behaviors.

The first session takes place on Wednesday, March 13, and focuses on navigation. We'll be joined by Bruno Sánchez-Andrade Nuño, scientific advisor & former chief scientist at Mapbox, and Emily Jacobi, founder of Digital Democracy, to explore how maps help us share information and navigate the unknown.

SPACE10 is a research and design lab on a mission to create better and more sustainable ways of living.

Welcome to the World Wide Web is our first joint research project. Each month we dive deep into one cultural technique and explore how it impacts the lives of the next generation of Internet users. Starting with navigation in March, the next sessions will be on language (April) and currency (May).

We hope you'll join along the journey.
